Friends of the Parks Chicago’s leading park advocacy organization, dedicated to preserving, protecting, and improving Chicago’s parks and forest preserves. NPOpen redesigned FOTP's site to meet the following objectives:

• Improve dramatically the design and content of the site as part of FOTP’s efforts to generate public support and advocacy on behalf of Chicago’s public parks.
• Create a design conveying a high-impact exciting design image of FOTP’s work
• Communicate more effectively with key FOTP audiences and constituencies
• Make the site an effective online hub for events and stimulate advocacy and fund-raising.
• Increase traffic through search engine optimization and creation of options that permit users to “subscribe” to the site’s content.
• Migrate the site to WordPress, an easy-to-use open source content management system that staffers would be able to access and understand.
