The Environmental Law & Policy Center is the Midwest’s leading public interest environmental legal advocacy and eco-business innovation organization. NPOpen redesigned ELPC’s flagship website in 2008, in order to meet the following objectives:

• Create a high-impact design that underscores ELPC’s mission, objectives and success stories.
• Create a clear, branded online identity for the organization.
• Focus the site to encourage users to take personal action and support environmental public policy initiatives.
• Migrate the site to WordPress, an easy-to-use open source content management system that staffers would be able to access and understand.
• Facilitate easy integration of multimedia content.
• Increase traffic through search engine optimization techniques.
